Geoffrey Weg--Photographer

Lost In Squares

Born and raised in Queens, NY, Geoffrey has spent most of his life in cities and urban areas. He began to have in interest in photography and visual arts while in his Sophomore year in High School. He advanced his skills quickly, eventually becoming coordinator of the photography elective and class. In the summer of 2003, he spent a summer at UC Berkley studying black and white photography.

After taking a break from photography until early 2006, Geoffrey began to get involved with photography again, specifically the digital medium. With his camera, he has photographed complex subject matter that is visually stunning. To the average person, Geoffrey's photography sparks an immediate sense of awe; but to the connoisseur- his photography reflects a poem, telling an artful story.

Geoffrey currently has work displayed in the Rubin Frankel Gallery in Boston, Massachusetts in the exhibit, "The Power of the Diminutive"...
