Jonathan Bacharach--Woodwork
Jonathan has been an avid artist using wood as his medium for nearly 15 years; acquiring training through mentorships as well as through self discovery. He has received multiple awards for his accomplishments including the Senior Technology Award from Wellesley High School, entrance to the School of American Crafts at the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, and has been featured in numerous news articles for his artistic skills in the use of wood. Most recently Jonathan has received formal accreditations from the prestigious North Bennet School of Boston, Massachusetts, where he built his professional repertoire in the fields of both new and traditional cabinetry and furniture making. Currently, Jonathan's work may be seen at the Montague Gallery in Concord, MA, or at either of the permanent displays at the Wellesley, MA Middle School and High School which the artist has donated. The donations to the schools not only stand as a tribute to Jonathan's creativity and drive, but acts as a point of motivation for other young artists who's passions lay outside that of conventional classroom curriculum.
