I became a Photographer by plan, a Digital Artist by accident. When Digital Art first emerged, I respected

it, but decided to stick with conventional Photography. In my last art show before getting a computer, I even wrote in my biographical piece "In these days of Digital Imaging, I'm extremely proud that every image in this show is non-digital."

After I got my first computer, I got Photoshop to manage my conventional photographs. Then I decided to explore Photoshop a bit. I opened my photograph of the Brooklyn Bridge, and in Photoshop's Image Menu, I saw the command, "Posterize." I decided to try it. Talk about your life-changing clicks of the mouse. I was amazed with those results. It inspired me to explore Photoshop fully. Now I consider digital special-effects to be a necessary part of interpreting my Photographs, and I really like the ability to see how many images I can make from each Photograph.

Besides creating artistic images, I'm also available for a variety of freelance assignments. I can do Photography, Graphic Design, and Web Design, and my creative style can benefit both individual and commercial interests.
